52 Challenges 2015 – Weekly Update 8

Although I have achieved a few things this week, they were not directly related to challenges, so there is little progress to report:

  1. 52 Week Money Saving Challenge – £12 put aside this week for a total of £78.
  2. Read 52 books in 52 weeks – I am definitely not giving myself enough reading time.  Currently reading The Martian by Andy Weir.  It is a great book so far, easy to read, just not spending enough time on it.
  3. Declutter 52 items – nothing new this week although I have decided to change the way I handle this challenge and came up with a list of “zones” to declutter.  I shall post it hopefully next week once I have made a few more changes to it.
  4. 52 Weeks Decluttering My Inbox – haven’t cleared them completely and haven’t spent any time on the old mails.
  5. Watch 52 movies from the “1001” list – I watched 2 movies this week: Breakfast at Tiffany’s – I had read the novel but forgotten how funny it is.  And I had never realised that Moon River was a song from the movie and that it was sung by Audrey Hepburn – we learn things every day!  It came a little too often as a theme though!  😉  I also watched The Naked Gun – one of those movies full of stupid things that I would not normally laugh at, but I did actually laugh out loud quite a few times!  🙂
  6. 52 Days Without Contacts – one day wearing my glasses this week.
  7. 52 Weeks Updating Blog – see this post!
  8. 52 Weeks To Drink Water – drank 2 glasses or more every day.
  9. Try 52 recipes – no new recipe tried this week.
  10. Finish 52 items in cross-stitch – Nothing new.
  11. 52 weeks to lose 10.1kg – lost 0.5 kg since last week, 1 kg down from my original weight.  It could probably have been a bit more but I did indulge in cheese and chocolate today…
  12. 52 weeks exercising – exercised four times this week, three times doing the programme and once indoor-cycling 20km.  I have also booked an appointment for the end of next week to review my programme.

I am happy with some of it and with the fact that I am starting to get more organised, but I do need to define my “organisation” challenge so I can record my progress.
